That warning is designed to prevent Android users from installing apps that are suspected of distributing malware or other attacks on your device/data. The “Showbox” clones on the Galaxy Store are pretty blatant, but the red flag upon installing them is that they trigger Google’s Play Protect warning. Max Weinbach spotted a handful of apps on Samsung’s Galaxy Store that all play off of the app “Showbox.” The app is known for free access to movies and TV shows, but has been taken down on several occasions for its reputation of distributing illegal, pirated copies of copyrighted content. However, the Galaxy Store has just been caught red-handed distributing apps masquerading as “Showbox” that may be able to infect your phone with malware. 7.While the Google Play Store is a core part of Samsung’s smartphone lineup, the company has offered its own Galaxy Store for the past few years, with most folks aware of its existence thanks to it being one of the only app stores housing Epic’s Fortnite. It’s basically Mad Max Battle Royale, and it’s amazing. The driver also has to pick up power-ups and smash gear crates as they drive. The Auto Royale mode is an added perk too, as it pits 30 teams of four players against each other, with one player handling the vehicle while the others deal with the firepower. It plays out like a game that sits comfortably at the point between the colourful silliness of Fortnite, and the serious FPS-ness of PUBG. However, now the developer, Daybreak Games, has launched the free to play H1Z1 Battle Royale (complete with Auto Royale mode) on PC and PS4. This version started out as a King of the Hill mode, where up to 150 players scuffle to stay alive, with matches playing out much quicker and more chaotic than Fortnite’s versions. Originally, it was a zombie survival shooter, but since the whole Battle Royale craze blew up, it’s also decided to follow suit.
A bit like both Fortnite and PUBG, H1Z1 actually started life as a very different game.
